93% reduction

93% reduction is available to blind persons declared incapable of living independently (a person with a significant degree of disability or a person in group I disability, due to a visual condition, should also be considered incapable of living independently).

The eligibility for reduction is certified by one of the following documents, confirming inability to lead an independent life or a group I disability or a significant degree of disability due to a visual impairment - or a certificate of significant disability due to a visual impairment issued by an authorised body:

  • an extract from the decision of the medical committee for invalidity and employment, stating that the person is classified in group I of disability,
  • an extract from the decision of: the military medical commission, the medical commission subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration or the Head of the Internal Security Agency or the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Agency, stating that the person is classified in group I of disability,
  • a decision of an examining doctor of the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) or an extract from such decision of an examining doctor of the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) stating complete inability to work and inability to lead an independent life, or inability to lead an independent life,
  • decision of the medical commission of the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) stating complete inability to work or complete inability to work and inability to lead an independent life, or inability to lead an independent life,
  • a certificate from the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) stating that the person has been classified in group I of disability by a court judgement or has been declared incapable of independent living,
  • an extract from the decision of an expert doctor or the medical commission of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) stating complete inability to work,
  • an extract from the decision of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) medical commission stating incapacity of independent living,
  • a certificate from the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) stating that the person has been classified in group I of disability by a court judgement or has been declared incapable of independent living,
  • an identity card of a retired police employee issued by a competent retirement authority subordinate to the Minister of the Internal Affairs or to the or the Minister of Justice, respectively, with an entry stating that the employee has been classified in group I of disability,
  • an identity card of a retired police employee issued by a competent retirement and disability pension authority subordinate to the Minister of the Internal Affairs and Administration, with an entry stating that the employee has been classified in group I of disability, or that they have been declared incapable of independent living,
  • an identity card of a retired police employee issued by a competent retirement and disability pension authority subordinate to the Minister of National Defence, with an entry stating that the employee has been classified in group I of disability, or that they have been declared incapable of independent living,
  • an identity card of a retired army employee issued by a competent retirement authority subordinate to the Minister of National Defence, with an entry stating that the employee has been classified in group I of disability,
  • an identity card of a disabled person certifying a significant degree of disability, issued by an authorised body.
