KM Zone Tickets

The KM Zone ticket allows for travelling by trains of Koleje Mazowieckie within a set area (zone), excluding the "Słoneczny" train and other trains of commercial character.

The following KM zones are defined:

1) KM Zone I limited by the following stations: Warszawa Ursus Niedźwiadek, Warszawa Gołąbki, Warszawa Choszczówka, Ząbki, Warszawa Wola Grzybowska, Warszawa Falenica, Warszawa Jeziorki;

2) KM Zone II limited by following stations: Pruszków, Płochocin, Chotomów (or Nieporęt), Zagościniec, Halinów, Zielonka Bankowa, Śródborów, Zalesie Górne;

3) KM Zone III limited by the following stations – Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Boża Wola, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Tłuszcz (or Nieporęt), Mińsk Mazowiecki Anielina, Celestynów, Czachówek Południowy, Góra Kalwaria.

The offer is related to the following ticket types:

1) KM timed zone tickets;

2) personal seasonal zone tickets:

a) monthly,

b) quarterly,

Timed zone KM ticket ;

The timed zone KM tickets may be purchased at full price or with a reduction (33%, 35%, 37%, 49%, 50%, 51%, 78%, 93%, 95% or 100%) for travel by trains of Koleje Mazowieckie running according to the current timetable, excluding the "Słoneczny" train and other trains of commercial character.

Such a ticket entitles for an unlimited number of journeys within:

1) KM Zone I - for 2 hours;

2) KM Zone I and II - for 4 hours;

3) KM Zone I, II and III - for 6 hours;

counting from the hour indicated by the passenger at moment of purchase.

The price of timed zone KM tickets within a given zone are realized as a lump sum, regardless of the number of kilometres travelled.

Note! If the completion of a journey (within the validity period of the ticket) has been made impossible by the train running late, the passenger may finish the journey at a time beyond the printed validity period (if the planned arrival of the used train falls within the validity period printed on the ticket).

There are no Journey tickets sold for travels between stations within Zone I.

Personal long-term zone tickets

The personal seasonal zone tickets may be purchased at full price or with a reduction (33%, 35%, 37%, 49%, 50%, 51%, 93%) for travel by trains of Koleje Mazowieckie running according to the current timetable, excluding the "Słoneczny" train and other trains of commercial character
for the following zones:

1) KM Zone I limited by the following stations: Warszawa Ursus Niedźwiadek, Warszawa Gołąbki, Warszawa Choszczówka, Ząbki, Warszawa Wola Grzybowska, Warszawa Falenica, Warszawa Jeziorki;

2) KM Zone II limited by following stations: Pruszków, Płochocin, Chotomów (or Nieporęt), Zagościniec, Halinów, Zielonka Bankowa, Śródborów, Zalesie Górne;

Personal seasonal tickets are valid from the issue date or from a date indicated by the purchaser with reservation to the 7 day period of advance sale.

Before the first journey, the passenger is obliged to enter into appropriate spaces on the ticket his or hers name and surname and the series and number of an ID document with a photo in a manner that is comprehensible, permanent and non-removable. This is especially important as the ticket is only valid with such an document.

What is more, the ticket lacking all the data entered in a legible manner is considered invalid. The person entitled for the travels within the section is only the person whose data are entered on the ticket. Laminating the ticket or extending its validity period is forbidden.

Koleje Mazowieckie does not refund any lost, destroyed, laminated or stolen tickets and do not issue any duplicates of such tickets even if their loss is registered with the police.
The validity period of a reduced-fare personal section ticket with a quarterly period of validity may not exceed the validity period of the document that entitles to a given transport discount.
