Travelling by KM train with a ticket valid on a PR or IC train

If during the ticket control on a Koleje Mazowieckie train a passenger will present a single ticket valid on a PR (Regional Transport) train or IC (Intercity) train for exactly the same road the conductor:

1) checks a passenger in according to the „Koleje Mazowieckie – KM” conditions of carriage and tariff and the transport rules by issuing:

a) the right ticket for the travel by „Koleje Mazowieckie – KM” train or

b) in case of refusal to purchase a new ticket, e.g. due to the lack of money - „Request for payment” on the basis of the same rules as if there is no possibility to give the change (or pay by credit card), putting into the request a note as follows:

„Passenger showed ticket number … for travelling with Company … (the name of a carrier) – 2-day payment deadline. In case of not meeting the deadline the additional charges as well as the statutory interest will be calculated.”

In the cases mentioned above there is no additional charge for issuing the ticket on train;

2) certifies the unused ticket presented by a passenger for travelling by PR (Regional Transport) or IC (Intercity) train by putting a note as follows:

„The ticket was unused from station … to station … The ticket for travelling by Koleje Mazowieckie train was issued with the following number …”

as well as informs a passenger that the refund for the unused ticket can be done at the corresponding ticket desk according to the rules specified by PR (Regional Transport) or IC (Intercity).
