Special offer - Radom – Pionki

For those passengers traveling by Mazowieckie Railway trains regularly on the Radom – Pionki sector, we have prepared a special offer that allows for the purchase of tickets at competitive prices.

The offer includes two types of tickets:

• Single use tickets,
• Named monthly sector tickets.

Who can benefit from this offer?

The offer is directed at both people buying tickets at the normal fare as well as people entitled to concessions:

• For single use tickets – statutory discounts of: 37%, 49%, 51%, 78%, 93%, 95%, 100%,
• For named monthly sector tickets statutory discounts of: 37%, 49%, 51%, 78%, and 93%.

What does the offer entitle to?

• Single use ticket – entitles the holder to a single journey between the stations indicated on the ticket and located on the Radom – Pionki sector within the specified time zones and in 2nd class of the KM passenger trains.
• Named monthly sector ticket - entitles the holder to an unlimited number of journeys between the stations indicated on the ticket and located on the Radom – Pionki sector in 2nd class of the KM passenger trains for one month from the date of the ticket issue or when indicated by the purchaser, subject to the retention of a 7-day advance purchase timeline.

The single use tickets on offer are available for sale at ticket counters and on the trains. The named monthly sector tickets on offer are only available at the KM ticket counters.

Additional information  – single use ticket

1. Tickets overprinted/endorsed with „special offer” are provided.
2. For journeys „one way” and „two way” two separate tickets are issued.
3. The special offer does not limit the powers of the traveller to purchase a single use ticket for travel between the stations designated by him located on the Radom – Pionki sector according to the rules and the prices specified in the Transportation tariffs (TP)-KM.
4. The person who completes the journey on the basis of a discounted ticket must meet the conditions referred to in the provisions of § 18 of the "Mazowieckie Railways-KM" transport tariffs (TP-KM).
5. For the journeys to / from stations located outside of the concerned special offer sector a single use ticket should be purchased.
6. Changes in the contract of carriage and reimbursement of the fully or partially unused portion of tickets takes place as set out in the Regulations of admission and transportation of people, goods and animals (RP) by the "Mazowieckie Railways-KM".
7. In the event of a ticket change for another KM ticket or a change to another railway operator, there is no penalty deduction.
8. The transfer to another operator’s train is not allowed.

Additional information – named monthly sector tickets

1. For journeys on the basis of the named monthly sector tickets, only that person is entitled to whom the ticket was issued.
2. Before starting the first journey, the ticket holder is required to write legibly in the space provided on the ticket, his name, surname and number of the document with a photograph confirming his identity. The ticket is valid jointly with the identity document. A ticket without entering the above mentioned information is invalid.
3. If the traveller declares that he has a named monthly ticket, but does not show it on the train or has rights to concessions, and shows the reduced ticket, but cannot produce a valid identification document attesting to that right, then refund for (amortisation), paid on the train (declared in the payment notice) as well as the tariff charges and additional fee– following deduction of (penalties) handling charges  – can be obtained by way of complaint based on the conditions as described in the Regulations of admission and transportation of people, goods and animals (RP-KM) by the "Mazowieckie Railways-KM". The amount of handling charge is specified in the Appendix to the Transportation tariffs (TP-KM) of the "Mazowieckie Railways-KM".
4. The traveller holding a discounted ticket of 49% or 51% and who cannot produce the document certifying that authorisation, in every case he is required to purchase a single use ticket at the normal tariff (according to TP-KM or special offer) in relation to the undertaken journey. Otherwise that person shall be treated as a passenger without a valid ticket.
5. In the case of checks revealing that the ticket is being used by someone other than the designated person or that the person utilises concessions without authority, the ticket shall be considered as invalid, and that person is treated as a passenger without a valid ticket.
6. The owner of the ticket is not entitled to compensation or a proportional refund in the event of a partial restriction of train traffic.
7. The special offer does not limit the traveller’s rights to purchase a sector ticket for travel between the indicated stations located on the Radom – Pionki sector according to the principles and prices as specified in the Transportation tariffs (TP-KM).
8. Foiling of tickets, exchange of tickets valid for travel in another sector, or for another train operator, or an extension of its validity, is not allowed.
9. For lost, destroyed, wrapped in foil or stolen tickets, charges will not be refunded and duplicates will not be issued, this applies also even if the loss is reported to law enforcement authorities.
10. For travel to / from stations that are located outside of the covered sectors of the special offer, a ticket should be purchased according to the regulations and the prices as specified in the Transportation tariffs TP-KM.
11. Changes in the contract of carriage and reimbursement of the fully or partially unused portion of tickets takes place as set out in the Regulations of admission and transportation of people, goods and animals (RP) by the "Mazowieckie Railways-KM".
12. Transfer to another train operator is not allowed.
